About Me, Roya Bahiyyih Abdi

My work began within my own body; curiousity, sensitivity took me deeper. I attended Vancouver School of Healing Arts back in 2022, where my understanding of myself expanded like never before. I wasn't just learning about massage, I was experiencing a transformation that I had always yearned for. This transformation was the reconnection with my body and therefore the present moment.

Many things in our current system and society take us further from presence with our bodies. Through Emotional loops of fear, shame, guilt. Through exposure to technology, light pollution, noise pollution. Through constant stressors ( fiancial). Ancestral and childhood trauma that replay in our lives and our relationships.

My work is an extension of my prayer. It is an extention of my presence, practcivces, skill and wisdom. In this space you will recieve an experience that meets you where are you. That meets with you with love, care, and faith. A space that allows you to feel, to process, to rest, to restore, to unravel, and unburden.

My work is based in Fascia, deep tissue but it is more than just physical.

Floor work:

Shaitsu, Thai massage, Guided meditation, Energy Work, Healing touch, Guided and Intentional Breathing

Workshops:

Workshops Around Self Massage, Unique education around the mind, body and spirit. Applicable Bodywork/Massage training. As well as Intentional and Sentient Movement, and meditation.
